In 1998,astrophysicist Saul Perlmutter, Brian P. Schmidt and Adam G. Riess studied dozens of supernovae discovered that the universe is accelerating expansion. Their theory is based on Hubble's law. Their observed data and formulas may not be a problem, but the expansion of the universe is likely to be an inappropriate conclusions by analyzing Hubble's law from the gravitational redshift and geometry. If the universe is not accelerating expansion, but accelerating collapse, then the universe is likely to repeat the big bang→expansion→accelerating collapse →the big bang as a cycle. There may be a problem in universe accelerating expansion by analyzing selected Ia supernovae as standard candles,Hubble's law, the cosmological principle. And the universe is likely to accelerate the collapse by designing several expanded and collapsing models, instead of accelerating expansion. If the universe is accelerating collapse, the age of the universe is much larger than one currently recognized (about 140 million years) .As a result, dark energy, which is thought to cause the universe accelerating expansion, even exist in the universe, will possess no characteristics of negative pressure.
